There was one problem with it. After I finished a model with this hair, the head would not move with the rest of the body. Has this happened with anyone else yet?

You need to open the base or model wip ( without hair on it ) first, and THEN add the hair, because the hair gets rid of the head bone, and replaces it with its own.
