11" x 14"prismacolor pencils on bristol
At look inside my head: Ok. So my thought process on this one is a little murky. I started of with an impulse whilst watching "The Big Lebowski" to draw a sort of flying "sunset" whale. The Dude listening to whale music sort of set me off. I dunno. Then the bones happened. Then the dragon tail, cuz (duh!) 'm obsessed with dragons. Then it started looking creepy to me, so I added little girl for an innocence factor, the balloon for focal point, and the tree (modeled after my kneaded eraser) to give her something to be distracted by while her balloon was being stalked. In the end it came out being a very weird piece, but oh well.

Ugh. I so need to upload a better picture of this. The little girl's dress is actually more salmon colored (if we talk crayola) than red. And I did a sucky job of cropping apparently O_o
