I've been trying to fine tune my style so that it looks consistent. It's always changing, I want to make it a bit more stable.

So this is a combination of an exercise on eye styles and also practice for some Avengers fanart I'm doing soon. Like, finished work for once.

I didn't label them, I'm curious if you guys can tell which actors they are : )

Alright, the eye "study" on the left-hand side is pretty good. Practice various styles and techniques to figure out what works best is always good and I can see the transition with each eye very well, making them seem different, yet very similar.

The ahvungers (well, Loki and Stark) are drawn very well for quick sketches and both Tony's look good, you got his robust chin spot on.
You also really drew Loki's head correctly and properly. A strange mixture of lankiness in the neck with that greasy looking hair.
Also, Desu~ Loki is the best Loki.
In my opinion, The Loki head directly above Desu~Loki has the best eye-shape and the bags under his eyes make him seem more desperate and cunning, like he has his plan down and he feels very arrogant on how well it's going to work.

I don't do critiques often so... here I go I guess.

I love those eyes. They are so cartoon-y looking, there's just something about them that's really... captivating! The sketches of the characters too: they've been really drawn to look cartoon-y as well but you can still obviously tell who they are! The Loki sketches down the bottom are well drawn also. The one with the evil smile is my favourite...
The realism is well done too! It's really convincing! The process of how it's turned into a cartoon is really interesting! I'd honestly like to see more of this style, I really like it!

I like how you transition from realistic eyes to mid-cartoon to absolute cartoon. If you remember how to keep that consistent, it would really boost your flexibility for your art styles. Which is something I'm trying to do myself : )
I'd say if you want to practice consistency, try the middle column. It's a mix to bend the rules when you're going for realism or cartoon. I'm trying to do that for one of my biggest projects, which I want to be semi-realistic but not too much.

Thanks for the input : ) Yeah the second one is more of less what I'm going for, the 3rd one was for practise when I want to do chibi styles.
