Levi x Reader: University

You jogged up to PIXIS and nearly went deaf as you pulled open the bars door. The loud pounding music shook your ears and the bright strobe lights hurt your retina’s, unfortunately you had forgotten to take off your glasses. You walked up to your friends who sat around their corner booth. Eren was dead asleep in the booth, one glass of beer half full sat in front of him. Armin sat with his laptop and headphones oblivious to the world around him.

“Hey Armin, where are the drunk’s?” you asked sliding opposite to him. Armin looked up and grinned.

“Hey ________, there over at the bar,” he said pointing at the large group of people clumped together. They started chanting something that couldn’t be heard over the music. You looked at him and you both stood and pushed through the crowd. Standing in the center was Mikasa holding a meter long glass chugging beer, apparently facing off with Ymir who had already downed half of her glass.

Christa looked desperately at you but you shrugged, there was nothing you could do, this happened almost every night. Ymir was impossible to control as was Mikasa but Ymir got totally wasted whereas Mikasa could last a while before dropping.

Ymir finished first and let out a huge howl of delight before bending over to kiss Christa. The little blonde blushed madly and horridly pulled the other girl out of the bar leaving a lot of laughter. Mikasa looked darkly into her glass before promptly sitting back down in her booth.

“Hi Mikasa,” you said grabbing your customary PIXIS Smoothie; you didn’t drink so you always got the strawberry banana smoothie.

“Hi _________, damn Ymir, always makes me look like an idiot,” she said grumpily.

“At least you didn’t go against Sasha,” said Armin dubiously putting his headphones back on. Mikasa paled a bit, probably remembering the last challenge that involved two kegs of Millers and a hangover fit for a king.

“Yeah that girl sure can drink,” you said sipping your drink.

“So how did your class go?” asked Mikasa much nicer now that she was slightly drunk.

“It went well… but I think one of the seniors doesn’t like me,” you said almost sad, you remember how scary Levi had looked.

“That's too bad,” she said taking another sip of her scotch.

Like Armin you soon decided to get some of your work done, you pulled out your laptop and began your Art History essay. As the night grew older the music got louder as did your need to pee.

Unable to stand it anymore you quickly stood and excused yourself for the bathroom you pulled your hoodie on so you could block the bathroom smell. Honestly speaking you hated the PIXIS bathrooms but you went anyways. The girl’s bathroom happened to be right next to the boy’s bathroom.

A large group of freshman guys were screwing around and they all paused when they saw you, one of them with dyed blonde and black hair eyed you. One of them laughed and rushed towards you and shoved you through the boy’s bathroom door. You fell down hard and your head whipped backward connecting with the concrete wall behind it. You groaned and brought your hand to your head, out of the corner of your eye you saw a face. He was standing at the sink soap still on his hands and his steely grey eyes were trained on you.

Laughter erupted from outside as the group of guys laughed at you, one of them chucked a bottle at you and it upended spilling the sticky beer all over you. Something wet began to seep through your hood and you pulled it away, your long hair tumbled down now visible. The guys stopped laughing to look at you, obviously startled. A dark blur rushed in front of you and the guys cried out. The guy with the dyed hair tried to say something but the guy pushed him out into the crowd.

The music stopped, as did the voices as the guy with the ebony hair stalked out of your vision. You tried to move but your head felt heavy and you slumped against the wall again. Voices erupted into a chant that pounded into your head like a hammer. The shouts rose and then the music started up again returning the bar to its normal din. Your eyes were drooping when you saw Mikasa’s familiar red scarf and felt your body be lifted up and the face of the man with grey eyes. Levi looked at you emotionless, your last thought before you drifted was that he must have been pissed about you barging in on him.
