If there is no credit for the artist, the only one who has the right to reclaim it is the owner itself, not the fanbase, if thats the kind of fans that the artist have, there is nothing much to say about it.
A friend of mine had been art stolen once, and her fanbase didnt act like you and some others act. just 2 words CONTROL YOUSELF
If the artist already ask for credit and it still nothing, then ok, report it, but not in that way.
