I was standing outside of her cage. She lives fairly peacefully at a sanctuary for big cats. She was someone's pet at one time until they realized they were dumb and shouldn't have exotic cats and gave her up. She doesn't like being disturbed by anyone and I was clearly disturbing her! haha

Not really sure, maybe 5 or 6 feet? I was inside the barrier by her cage, but wasn't actually inside it. She would have attacked me had I been in it.
