Nice to meet you all! Let me introduce my Ningyo baby; Kohaku! it's my first time drawing this kind of creature omaigosh I hope his real form didn't scare you :'D haha ah, and please forgive any mistake in my writing since Englis isn't my first language~ >m<;;

History:
Kohaku once lived as a human. He was born into a family of novelists, therefore he was introduced to the world of writing since childhood. Reading and writing has always been his favorite activity. He always found time to write diaries before going to bed, and and it's not rare for him to lift some of the events that happened became a fascinating short story and later published in a monthly magazine.
Time passed and he became a student of literature major. One day he played a game where the loser has to do a challenge. At that time he was lost and his friends agreed to give him a challenge which is impossible to do. But with his serious nature, Kohaku prefer to take up the challenge instead of asking for other alternatives.

The challenge was he has to take a picture of a Ningyo that has been rumored often seen in the sea not far from where he lived.

Right after his classes ended, Kohaku always gone there to look for the Ningyo. He spent countless time there, until his lucky day finally arrived. He saw a Ningyo-like figure not so far from the shoreline. He quickly ran to the place where he can take a closer look with the hope that he would take a clearer image.
The Ningyo which was aware of Kohaku's existence felt its life is in danger, because there're many people who hunt them because the flesh of a Ningyo is believed to grant eternal life and youth to those who eat it. The Ningyo hurriedly dive into the sea afterwards, by providing a curse to Kohaku.

The curse was... to change him into a Ningyo so he would feel the fear of being hunted whenever he's in his Ningyo form.

Extra Information:
- His personality changed so much since he become a Ningyo
- During this time he lived by moving from one place to another because normal people will actually notice how his look doesn't change after several years
- His hair is dyed
- He doesn't follow fashion trend, that's why his clothing is rather outdated
