Sesshomaru from InuyashaInuyasha was one of my first anime I started to watch and has been a favorite of mine for years. Sesshomaru is one of my favorite characters in the series and has been a dream cosplay for ages. I got the chance to create this costume with a group of my friends who remade their Inuyasha cosplay's for JAFAX 2012. Im glad it turned out the way it did, I made it in record speed of a week and half, usually this type of cosplay would take me at least a months worth of time. I do plan on remaking the armor, it took a small bit of damage, but overall this costume turned out great. Only one factor though, which Im not afraid to say...I sweat like a pig in this O.o Any who I fan-girl over my own photos, I love Sesshomaru so much.

As I said before, very nicely done~. What all did you use to make the armor?

I used craft foam, I love how easy it is to work with and how flexible it is. I covered it in something called plasti dip, its what you coat handles on tools. You can get it in a dip or spray, which I went with a spray. It worked great sealing the foam before I spray painted it. Im still going to remake the armor though, because this cosplay was rushed and made in a week and a half. But overall Im so glad it turned out the way it did and lasted through the day.

Huh, that's pretty neat. I'll have to keep the plasti dip thing in mind for future projects. I made mine out of craft foam and paper mache, but it was also rushed and was a complete piece of crap |D. I'm trying to work with PVC Sintra now to see if it turns out any better.
