⚜ History :
Harvey never knew his true parents. The nuns were the closest people he would ever consider guardians. He lived under their strict rules and was forced to do his prayers and speak with the priest in the calming countryside of Spain. By the age of twelve, he knew he was different from the other orphans. He couldn’t feel normal emotions; happiness, sadness, even remorse when the Orphanage was plagued with the pox. As the sickness spread, he watched them drop like flies, and the nurses and nuns prayed to God for salvation for their souls. Harvey didn't understand this. There was no god and if by chance there was a god he didn't show mercy to the poor innocent boys. He would have rather watched them die. It was a stormy night and one of the boys that slept next to him was coughing, bedridden and not having one of the nuns by. His eyes watched the boy till eventually, Harvey decided to do God's work for him. Isn't that why he didn't get sick like the other boys? Sliding out of the cot he walked over to the boy and loomed over him, watching him suffer like a dying animal. It didn't take long for Harvey to decide what was to be done next and he pulled the pillow from underneath the boys head and smothered him. Isn't this what God wanted, for Harvey to put the sick boy out of his misery? To take the boy’s will to live once and for all?
Once grown up and living in the busy city of Valencia, he found enjoyment in solitude and opened his own library shop in the city, playing his classical music as he took care of his books. It was a simple and precious thing to him besides the damn bible. He continued to Lord’s work in Valencia, beginning massive killing sprees in the city. His victims would be those who checked out his books. Harvey enjoyed picking the ones that looked innocent of those who would proudly represent the church. Having had the religion forced down his throat in the orphanage, he hated to even think about it.
He always left a piece of his victims behind after cutting them to pieces and tossing them in the ocean. Harvey always kept a lock of their hair it between the pages of his books. They served as reminders to his thrilling kills that gave him life. Things were going well for Harvey for some time; his urges to kill were becoming less and less, and in his self-centeredness, he thought he would never get caught. That was until an undercover detective came into his life, ruining the simple things he cherished most. The detective found and went through his private collection of books he didn't give to the public and quickly noticed the locks of hair that Harvey himself collected. The rat had the audacity to touch his possessions and threaten his good life. Blood.. there was so much blood and the feeling in his hands felt so good as he watched himself sink to his knees before the detective’s body before him. Harvey knew he was going to get the noose for this one. He has killed a man of the law and practically chopped off his limbs….but the feeling still felt so good. A pulsing thrill was going through his body, and that thrill turned to anger as he began yelling at himself for what he had done. He killed an officer and now he was sure to die.. but in that brief moment, it felt like time was slowing down, the ticking of a nearby clock stopping directly at 12:09.
He felt a dark looming shadow over him, and he looked above to see a horned beast. It was a demonic creature with a horned crown and a lantern hanging off one of his horns. Revealing his sharp jagged teeth in his large mouth, he spoke. Paimon.. Paimon is what he called himself. Paimon said he would take care of the body and help protect him..IF he had something in return.. his eyes. Harvey didn't think twice about this knowing this would only give him the liberty to continue what he did best.. running a library as well as continuing to kill. Leaving Valencia Harvey traveled to England and began a new journey.. an asylum.. something Paimon kept mentioning over and over.
