Don't laugh. Studies show that up to 2.3% of unicorns still set fire to the bed during adulthood.

My entry for day eight of the Equestria Daily Newbie Training Grounds. The theme was "bed mane". I missed day seven, which was "dreaming", so it's covering for that, too. This one is fairly simple and took about half the time a picture usually does for me. Colouring is going a lot faster since I figured out to copy the inks layer, colour one and overlay the original when I'm done.

Lessons:
The mouth is fairly blatantly copied with slight perspective changes, but it was too good not to use. A lot of the rest was referenced, too. The base of her horn doesn't follow the curve of her hair. The face might be a bit too round. MLP ears aren't as pointy as I tend to draw them, but I kind of prefer them like this. Her left knee should be narrower.

If Twilight does grow up to be Celestia's replacement and she goes through the same transformation she did (and *fyre-flye implied Luna will go though one, too), will she be sporting the Rapidash mane? Sucks for her subjects if she gets the personality to go with it.
