Description
A cult classic Fleischer Studios character (Other than April North from the Popeye short, Never Kick a Woman) who made her first (and only) animated appearance in the Betty Boop short idly titled, "Sally Swing." This was supposed to jumpstart a spin-off series for her in light of the popularity of swing dance music but it never caught on, and since then she faded into obscurity.

Fortunately however (unlike April) she has made a comeback in comic book format as a supporting character for some of the more recent Betty Boop comics.
