I don't know, the dog it's not mine. I saw his leg in my pc, an I felt bad. Here in Spain some people are very cruel with greyhounds.It is horrible what they do to these poor dogs.

I've read a lot of horror stories about how greyhounds are killed in Spain. The U.S. has done/and continues to do monstrous things too. Any time money and animals are mixed, the animal loses. The good news is that there are rescue groups trying to make a difference. Spanish greyhounds are considered really wonderful.

It's really good when people decide to adopt a retired racer. They're seem so shy, but they're incredibly sweet creatures.

I met a retired Spanish racer a few years ago. He was so sweet and affectionate! I really wanted him, but lucky for him, he already had his forever home. My own greyhound is anything but shy. He's a calm, confident, affectionate boy who loves everyone he meets. He's a good spokesperson (spokesdog?) for the breed. We're working toward getting our Therapy Team certificate.
