He came about as a new central villain for Knuckles in the Archie series since Dimitri had been retired as a primary foe, and he needed someone to protect the master emerald from. In the stories written of him, I enjoyed his devious string pulling of the various heroes. He seemed like a character rich for many stories before the initial reboot took place. Se la ve.
