Some days I miss this anime. I have more memories from the two live action movies. Cheesy by today's standards, but it is a nostalgia trip for me.

I agree. I remember this during the late 1990s. At the time there was really only two channels I watched as a kid, sifi channels moonlight matinee, and tnts monster vision. I'd kill to get those back.

Yeah, LOVED the old Sci Fi channel and Monstervision. Monstervision gave me a bit of the vibe of the classic Chiller theater, even though they didn't really do host stuff except for Joe Bob Briggs on occasion.

Here's hoping they bring back monster vision. Least according to James Rolfe the angry video game nerd who did an interview with Briggs a while back that he has been in discussion to hosting it again

That'd be cool. He wasn't bad as a host. And it'd be great if the would marathon Godzilla films agaon. I will be keeping the horror host tradition alive on my Youtube channel. It is mostly a model building channel but we started this year a new thing that will become an October thing. This October was the pilot, a showing of a horror film I was in directed by my best friend Jon called The Traveler. We did host segments with me in character. Pretty decent response to it, so next October will be season one of The Traveler's Realm Of Fear, where I again in character will host public domain horror films every Saturday in October.

Guyver 2 I think is actually pretty good. Guyver 1, well... But I really think that apart from bad acting and being a bit too ambitous for its own good in spots it's a pretty decent film. And the Guyver armor in that film looks incredible.
