This artwork was a gift from an aspiring young artist named Koyuki Nakayama. She is the 14 yr old daughter of someone very dear to my heart. I have been urging her to open a page here on DA, but she is a bit reluctant due to the language barrier. I have told her great things about the friends i have made on DA, and she would very much like to hear your critiques on her work. I am hoping that the heartfelt encouragement and support you have always shown to each other will inspire her to pursue the artistic dreams that she already shows such a talented flair for.Related content

I love how her flowing hairstyle turned out, especially the shading. The dress looks so wonderfully done.

The face and hair is great just the shirt is really dark and I cant tell where the arm/hand is. I really dont like that one hair strand on the top left, it should be lowered a litte. I know she does better then me when I drew when I was 14 XD Great work with the markers. She puts a lot of the anime aspects into her art. I would like to friend her if she joins D.A. ^_^
