Almost looks like three different fractals, very cool!

Have to agree with the aforementioned lack of "punch." I think the colors are right, just without the necessary saturation.

I like the over design and shape and everything.
I'm just not too keen on your color choice here.
I just feel this would be better suited with some rich reds and the gold instead of the purple and subtle blue green.
