Do you see this alternate Canada being a major player in WWI and WWII if they happen since it's bound to have a even higher population and industrial base?

Given it's greater size and all it could be interesting how things went if US and British relations soured an a War Plan Red style situation happened.

I see Canada has it's old flag or a version of it here, out of the three anglo-sphere dominions they are the only one that has removed the union jack from their national flag as of yet which I always found a little odd given Australia and NZ kept them on ours.

Yes. But then again, Australia and New Zealand don't have a very large and constantly angry French minority demanding that the government be as un-British as possible.

True, my relatives in Canada have described Quebec as a political pain in the ass several times over the years. So I can definitely see how that affects things regardless of ones view of Quebec.

Huh I was just pondering a scenario like this yesterday. Very nice.
I love maps where Canada has Alaska, just looks more visually pleasing.
Why the Naval jack as the Flag though?

I dunno, Australia and New Zealand use modified Blue Ensigns, so figured that it would help establish the "alternate" part of it where Canada has a blue ensign instead of a red one.

It looks good in blue, I wonder if in this TL the Maple Leaf flag will also have blue on it.
I've always been fond of theΒ "Pearson Pennant".
