The reality stone "Aether" :
in a long time ago Malekith and Alarielle were once lovers, destined to rule Ulthuan as the Phoenix King and the Everqueen. But their love was shattered by a cruel twist of fate, when Malekith was rejected by the Flame of Asuryan, the sacred fire that proved his divine right. He blamed Alarielle for his failure, and turned to the dark side, becoming the Witch King of the Dark Elves. He waged war against Ulthuan, and sought to capture Alarielle, who still loved him despite his evil deeds. In a final confrontation, Malekith tried to force Alarielle to marry him, but she resisted, and used her power as the priestess of Isha to transform herself into the Reality Stone, the red gem that could alter reality. She hoped that by doing so, she could save Ulthuan from Malekith’s wrath, and also remind him of their lost love. But Malekith was too corrupted by his hatred, and he only saw the Reality Stone as a weapon to destroy the universe. He took the stone, and left Alarielle’s body behind, unaware that she still lived within the gem, waiting for his redemption
