For whatever reason, I've lately become fascinated with scriptures about the heavenly hosts - particularly the archangels:
Gabriel (left) - God's greatest messenger, and Michael (right) - the commander (after Him) of the heavenly armies

And the other day I found myself reading some research articles about them and something that I absolutely loved was a particular quote I gathered from one of them:"Despite his great power, Michael [in particular] is still in total submission to the Lord. His dependence on the Lord’s power is seen in Jude 1.9... taking into consideration the strength of Michael the archangel, his submission to God is all the more beautiful."

And with that God gave me a vision of the image above and spoke so clearly to my heart about the true beauty and strength that comes from being in total submission to Him.
So often atheists and third wave feminists argue that submission in any way, shape or form (whether it be to a man or a 'higher power') is a sign of weakness or personal defeat/depreciation, but Michael (right) and Gabriel (left) are living proof that this is absolutely not the case whatsoever, and it fills me with such courage and confidence knowing full well that submission to Christ and His power is the ultimate form of strength in the life of the believer <3
