IsisSing for me now
for all my songbirds
have alibis
and have taken to wing
Stand with me now
when all the stars
have shed their veils
leaving me to stand
like a stone against the wind
In the chrysalis
it is dark and dangerous
a time to watch for predators
who'll take advantage of
this easy feast
It is the way it seems
at times
Pray for me now
when all my Gods
have failed
to resurrect
and bring salvation
Drink from me now
I am a deep well
filled from the flood and flow
before this drought
and scorching fire
Though I am all I need to be
still I metamorphosize
This growth is never-ending
How my bones of past split
and separate
So die for me now
I will gather up your pieces
and reassemble you with care
To be reborn
To live again
Golden
like summer's bounty
