i think it depends on how you need them much. but mine, i was really curious on buying one so i gave it a try. i just bought the cheap ones and it was pretty good to have one. at least, you would not need to spend a lot of art materials.
but i'm starting to like traditional art, the problem is, it would need a lot lot lot of money to buy some art supplies.

i do have sketchbooks too and some colored pencils, but i can't afford some coloring materials like copic markers. i really want them so badly and the fact is, i don't know where could i get a lot of money because it cost those markers $300+ O_o only wealthy artist can have that!
i'll have to work harder. haha
