So yeah, this was taken earlier today while walking around and recording my bukowski piece. I was just zooming through the alleys when I saw this ittle bugger. Poor thing was famished and could barely get out of the box where he slept in, so I gave him my shaworma (gyro) sandwich which he acceptdly gladly. He then let me tickle his tummy. I'm going to go there every day to feed him, I just hope he stays in that spot.As we are all accustomed to it, my camera sucks. PSed it a bit to give a more saddening bleak vibe. I think it worked rather nicely.

This image compared to the original, for some reason, i Prefere this one. Its more grainy, I like it, its like the way it would be if you converted it to black and white. and messed with the tones.

Very nice and sad at the same time ... i cant make up my mind about the composition if the cat is the main motive or the boxes i would have said that it might be centercomposed but thoose boxes makes it all balanced in a way !

I went through phases of taking photographs and stuff, but i haven't had the motivation to do that lately.
but i dunno, there's just so much of a tragic yet natural tone to the cat photo that makes me really appreciate the single moments of nature.
and how a simple camera could capture a single moment strapped with a bucket of emotions and experience, and keep it all, tightly buckled to a page,
forever.
I think I need to buy a camera.. yes, I will start taking photos again...

Yeah, I'm goign to have to thank *ashellessmind for showing this to me over IM, because this just whacked me with so much inspiration, for some strange reason.
Our lives, just go by so quickly. Years dissolve into a single second and when we whirl to the end, every creamy memory and chunky emotion that ever strolled through our mind form a puddle beneath our feet.
But with photography, we can remember things. Remember exactly how it felt and what we believed, and what the world was trying to tell us a certain moment in one day, long ago.
Yeah. I'm going to take pictures again.

Honestly, everything you write...be it poems, prose or just comments are wonderful.
I can stop smiling while reading this. It's exactly why I enjoy photography. I want to go all around the world and take photos of every place I visit. I want to peek through people's old photo albums and sink myself in them and imagine the emotions they had pacing through their minds while the shot was taken.
Photos are wonderful. Sponteanous shots even more so. They contain so much sincerety that I find to be the very source of our humanity. And I love that feeling.
Thank you for your very kind words, and I can't wait to see your future photos; becuase if it's anything like your work then I'm certain I will fall head over heels for them.

T_T OMG. It reminds me off this kitty I used to feed whenever i down for the school bus. It's front paw was broken, so I always fed him my lunch for school. XD
Needless to say, I had nothing to it, but anywho, I had friends who always brought five dirhams to wchool and I can get yummier food. >_>;;
Which area was this? I swear that cat looks just like 'mine' except for the 'unbroken' paw.

The best thing though was, people from that shwarma place under my building always gave that cat food. ^^ so the last time I saw it which was...three-four months ago, it was alright. ^^ The last time I ever saw that cat before those few months was....two years ago? XD

this version is better then the original IMO, it really does feel like the cat is struggling in this, in the original i feel it just looks like a cat in a box. you've brought out the dirt and everything. fabulous work
