I find it amazing that in a lot of comics(professional or amateur) when
someone(usually the antagonist or protagonist) does something unexpected
to their 'opposite' the opposite asks, "How did you do that?" Then the
antagonist/protagonist tells them in detail. That has to be the
stupidest thing an antagonist/protagonist to do. Common sense should
tell the antagonist/protagonist to know reveal how they did what they
just did.
I want to avoid bad clichΓ©s like that in the telling of this story.

It's a general fanon to treat changelings like zerg or with hiveminds. Not just in that site. It's pretty much expected.

Yeah but how many of those stories have the Hive Mind just because it sounds good and how many of those get into the finer details of such a thing or even things likeΒ Changeling society, mating habits, and so on? How exactly did Chrissie become Hive Queen? How can a Changeling escape Chrissie's control besides 'Destiny/Fate'? What is Chrissie's ultimate plan for the Hive?

Those are also adressed in many stories. Regardless I have a distate for fanon interpretations that pretty much push creativity to stagnation. People are just not giving other thepries or stories a chance because of this.

I try to keep the clichΓ©s down to a minimum or if I can't, I'm going to use them in a different way. The next page explains one of the 'questions' and it won't be because of some kind of 'prophecy/fate/destiny'.

Wow Chrysalis can break the disguise of her own servants? I suppose that ability would be useful when you consider how confusing things could get if all the changelings kept their disguises during meetings.
