Almost every fighter has those days. The days where you stop and look in the mirror - take inventory. Seeing healed scars from old battles. Seeing new scars from the last ones. A stitch mark here. Maybe some see cauliflowering ears. Maybe some a broken nose that didn't set back right. Seeing bruises that never fade completely. You feel those scars when you get up in the morning. You feel'em more when you go to bed at night.

Those days you look back at where you started and where you're going and wonder if you're on the right path. They're the days when doubt seeps in. Has it been worth the pain? Will it be worth the risk? For what? At this point, I have nothing to be ashamed of. The Asian Games, Olympic alternate, title belts, pay per views, earning my nicknames The Gauntlet Gatekeeper, The Asian Sensation... *snickers* even the Mouth of China South. You've been at this a long time now, Mo Fei. What more are you chasing?

And those are the days I give that mirror a grin. It's been worth ever bump. Every bruise. Every defeat. Every victory. And I am NOT done yet. Not today, doubt. I have work to do.
