Description I was soooo tempted to put "aye aye matey" in the title but I resisted the urge. >:C

Anyway, this is an aye aye study I did! I decided to study this spoopy creature in particular because it really freaked me out but at the same time I went "awww." They'll give you nightmares and look like furry devils but I love them with all my heart. I also took this as an opportunity to improve my colour, anatomy, especially painting and getting that contrast right! I think I did pretty well for my first study, though I don't think my art can truly capture the aye aye's creepiness. They're endangered which makes me really sad, so I hope I can spread awareness with this piece!

Just look at those creepy hands, and beady eyes, truly terrifying!

Well, I'll get straight into it:

I. Freaking. Adore. These.
Your paintings have astronomically improved! It's nice and crisp while you can see all the details in the fur. I love how you painted their hands (paws? feet? what even are these creatures-) and the head in the full-body painting is gorgeous. It's really smooth and you can even see where the head bulges out for the eyes and everything.
The other painted head-shot you did looks like something you'd see in a very well illustrated book - I love the textures and faint lines you've added. The sketch on the top left must've been a very tricky pose, and overall, it's clear you've put a lot of effort into these.

Brilliant work as per usual mate, can't wait to see more from ya! <3
