well not many mosques... that would be cities like Mashad. Not very many skyscrapers, except on the edges of the city (they don't really bother with knocking down the old buildings)
Definitely lots of smog.
You missed the crapton of net cafes, junk food joints (NEVER EAT THEIR PIZZA) and the overpriced convenience stores (seriously they charge you fricking double)

I don't know how a real pizza tastes like but pizza is one of my favorite foods!

American style pizza is delicious, but it's very big, around 50 cm in diameter, and it's very unhealthy (shocking, no?), sometimes with a lot of oil, and the sauce is already in the food, under the cheese.
The reason I say that I don't like the pizza in Iran is because I had a bad experience with pizza (after having one with a cousin in Hamadan, I got sick) and I've just never looked at one the same (though I suppose you're talking about the pizza in Tehran, which I have never had before, I guess next time I visit I should try some.)
But as somebody who has eaten plenty of junk food in both Iran and America, I can say this: the hamburgers are better in Iran!

oh... really!!! one I ate an Italian pizza, I didn't like it that much... but I think a good Iranian pizza is good!(what a sentence!) I mean if you go to a good restaurant.... but junk foods are always junk foods no matter where you eat them!

Italian pizza is a bit different than American pizza...where did you eat it? (I'm assuming Italy?)
I remember once going to a really bad American pizza place (visible mold all over the food) We never went there again. I guess they're's bad food everywhere. Unfortunately i'm not going to visit Iran this year. It makes me sad, since I was planning to try the pizza again.

I ate it in Iran. Wish you try better foods here like koofte or gheime or chenje (I not sure if they are named like this in English!) but they are my favorite Iranian foods. Tell me when you come here so I can name you some good restaurants here!

Oh. Interesting.
Actually, my grandfather is a great cook (used to OWN a restaurant...in Tehran, I think) so I've already had a lot of Iranian foods. My favorite would have to be naan tadek (or is it tadek naan?) Although I like other foods.
