Dan's always a hard one to catch, cause he's stuck down the back of the stage, jumps around a lot, and is usually not very well lit. This night he was backlit, so I just went with it. This yellow shot turned out better than the rest just because of the contrast. It's a bit foggy, but blame it on the smoke machine.

This is a great photo! If only Eskimo Joe were an industrial metal band... at first glance, it looked like a worker in some factory.. welding or something...
There's a very intense quality to this - something to do with those beams of light seemingly permeating his body. It's not a 'nice' photo in the sense that it's not 'soft', but it's definitely engaging: there's great 'life' in it or something. Great work.
