Dear God! What a week/month!
I worked as a simultaneous interpreter during the microbiological conference. There are so many things that I would like to mention but I'm too lazy to type but my memory won't let me to write about everything.

First of all I worked without any preparation, so the doctors and my boss- the Professor , were amazed that I can speak so fluently about something I have never heard of. Work of the interpreter isn't simple, it requires concentration, fluency, vocab... And I'm not even BA of English philology. Moreover, I have absolutely basic skills when it comes to German, yet I translated from German into English!

Secondly, my BSG addiction surfaced like a cursed seal I switched into Ellen Tigh mode [link] episode Tigh me up Tigh me down
SCENE: Professor introduces me to his friend from Germany
He: Nice to meet You
Me: The pleasure is all mine *with perverted voice*
Inner me:

Thirdly, I had few nice conversations with all those prominent scientist. They are completely different people when they are not giving you grades...
All in all I had fun. I was deadly tired, but I managed to survive and turned out to be not half bad at interpreting

Another issue from my busy life... MS research. My "Cherry Boy" Promoter (I hope he will never ever read this) wants me to grow roots in the lab. Most of the Masters studies are nothing special, research done for 30 experimental objects, one factor tests... nothing elaborated. What am I working on? 3 factor study of 300 slurry samples, isolating 120 Enterococci strains and testing their vancomycin resistance The problem is that i have 1 year to conduct this research, write my thesis and still pass other exams... And it looks like everything in my research can go wrong. if I won't receive samples from the whole voivodeship- I will fail. If I won't receive restrictive enzymes to identify the starins- I will fail...
So I have to protect myself from failure and conduct other tests about the methane fermentation as precaution...

To sum up I won't be able to draw at all... expect the end of my works. I still have few from previous year... but that would be all for me as an artist... I don't regret- I wasn't even good at it...

Screw the studies! We've scored a goal!!!
