It is my first time trying out for an OCT so please tell me if I should do anything else to the character sheet! (To be honest, I think I made it way too long and am trying to make it shorter…)

Name/ nickname: Daniel of William Callingstar (Dan)
Age: 2 years old (Looks and acts around 25)
Gender: Male
Species: Humanized Eelex
Height/Weight: 175cm 99kg (Looks 62kg)

Abilities/ Strengths:
Dan has the abilities and weaknesses of his species.
-Skin like rubber: deflects electricity and slightly thicker than normal human.
-Hair like electricity, letting out energy and light: Can be used to temporarily move objects for decoys. However, since it is hair, it is just soft and just slightly tingles people even if touched. How bright his hair is and how long the energy of his hair lasts depends on Dan’s physical health.
-Can adapt to harsh environments and digest just about anything (immune to poison)
-Lack of sense of pain: Crisis management skills are not needed for the species due to their survivability and lack of predators
-Strong muscles (especially around jaw and tail): Used in nature for eating stone and digging caves. Can punch fairly strongly if needed.
-More durable than normal human: Due to all the muscle. He can take more physical violence than normal human.
-Great eyesight: Enables him to see in the dark and meters away- this comes in handy when avoiding danger beforehand.

Physical Weaknesses:
Dan’s biggest weakness is that of his species. Most of these weaknesses comes from his hair using most of his energy.
-Lack of stamina (Very slow, stiff, and cannot dodge most attacks): His hair uses most of his energy. He cannot run for long and runs very slowly, so he tends to fail when trying to run away.
-Constant hunger: Because his hair uses a lot of energy, he will often be munching on something he found on the street and his hair loses its energy if he does not eat something for around 3 hours.
-Limited regeneration powers/Immune to medicine: Eelexes tend to be the top of the food chain; they are not used to being sick or being hurt. They use most of their energy to sustain their hair, giving them very limited regeneration powers. It will take Dan longer two times longer than a normal human to recover from wounds and sicknesses (it does not help that because of his immunity to food poison, he is also immune to medicine). Wounds and sicknesses will lower Dan’s stamina even more and can drain the energy out of his hair.
-Lack of management crisis skills: Because of his inability to process pain, he will not realize fatal wounds nor conditions, until it is too late.
-Demerits of living on land (weak to strong light and easily dehydrated): Can be physically hurt and temporarily blinded from strong light (including strong sunlight) without goggle. Easily dehydrated, the land being drier than the sea.

Personality:
-Safety first: Easily scared and aware of his flaws, he will easily give up on things and hide until his troubles are gone. However, he is equally scared of his master, William Callingstar, so he will do anything to collect all the ingredients he was asked to... As long as his life isn’t endangered.
-Extremely cautious (of environment and people): Will avoid aggressive people and dangerous platforms.
-Polite (to avoid conflict): Though he does not agree with idealistic and abstract values, he does think it is a good thing that people are optimistic.
-Realist and pragmatist: Due to his lack of stamina and past living in nature.
-Easily attached to any nice looking person: He likes kind-hearted people and smart people, and will try to stick around with such people.
…But always alert and is first to run away: No matter how kind-hearted and nice someone is, he will quickly run away from them if they show any sign of being a threat.

(Long) Backstory:
Dan is an Eelex, an electric eel-like creature famous for their survivability and good taste. As they mainly live in the deep sea and do not move out of their caves, they are hard to come across. However, some Ellexes inhabit the shallow sea to avoid conflict with their own kind; Dan was one of them. Dan would have lived the rest of his years peacefully… If he was not unlucky enough to be fished out of his comfortable home by the young alchemist William Callingstar. Dan was step away of being William’s supper, but fortunately, the day Dan was captured was also the day William's assistance quite due to the alchemist’s aggressive attitude and constant failure to pay his salaries. Hence, William morphed Dan to a human like creature to take over the assistance’s roll. Since then, Dan has worked under the short-tempered and aggressive alchemist (for free).
Despite being close with William, Dan is still scared of him (as William could just decide to eat him one day), so he will not go against William’s orders. Therefore, despite being extremely afraid of the End of the World, Dan follows the deity in search for ingredients for William’s experiments, which he was ordered to go find. Dan still partially blames this misfortune for the delivery person for not being able to deliver the package of ingredients (the delivery person likely died from the tragedy).

Other:
- Dan’s inventory: the L.L Transporter (10.1) (William’s invention that sends non-living objects to its pair Transporter. It also works as a camera and a bag. Stretches a lot and moves around but has no intelligence. Used to send William his resources), a list of ingredients William asked for (he remembers it, so it is mostly to show people), a few test tubes (to collect ingredients) and a bottle of water. His possession is inside the transporter.

-Despite gaining knowledge of alchemy and human culture from numerous books, Dan is still bad at remembering names. He will often get names wrong and will call people by their physical appearance or other distinct characteristics.
-Eelexes grow very fast despite having a long life-span (an average of 70-80 years). That is why Dan appears pretty old despite only being alive for 2 years old. He looked like a teenager when he was captured by William a year ago. Eelexes stay around 40 in human age for most of their lifetime.

-Eelexes has a distinct taste, vaguely similar to normal eels. However, unless they are cooked properly, they are had to bite through, and though they can be eaten raw, it is best to stew for a few days and then consume.
