Description Well, hello. Once again.
And once again sorry I've been away for so long.
As you know, I left Russia after the invasion, and so I've been an immigrant for a year now. It's been tough, and continue to be so.

I made my living as an artist in my home country, but my international audience, as you can see, is very small. I had hopes and plans to expand it, to create a new community, and set up an income entirely or mostly tied to my art. But it seems I overestimated myself. Social networking has always been a very resource-intensive business for me. Even though I enjoy interacting with my audience and am always incredibly happy to receive feedback and develop communication, it simultaneously sucks all the juice out of me. Apparently, it is just how my personality works. And in immigration I have to constantly spend my resources on legalization, finding and changing housing, many other things - even the simplest everyday things are difficult for me, so there is no extra energy left.

Moreover, despite my move, because of the sanctions imposed on Russian citizens, I still encountered a lot of problems on the financial side - with receiving and withdrawing payments, even donations, which is very critical for continuing my work. I cannot, for example, receive payments to Paypal, despite opening a local account, simply because it does not work fully here. I wanted to start a Patreon, but it turned out that no withdrawal system was ready to work with me as with a Russian. And I had so much hope for Patreon and passive income from there! As it could keep me afloat so I wouldn't have to exist in perpetual panic mode.

Anyway... All of these circumstances completely threw me off balance and I had no energy to do literally anything to develop my art and social media. I was just devastated. And there was no way I could waste my time on things that were not making me an income right now and here.
Hope you understand.

Now I can't say that everything is straightened out, but I'm starting to function little by little and look for some new options.
So far I've managed to clear up some old sketches and make a couple of dumps.
These drawings were made in 2021 from life while visiting a zoo in Karelia. I used my travel sketchbook and brushpen filled with ink.
