I love how you put on ancient Chinese armor on him instead of stereotypical Japanese ninja stuff. The Sub-Zero brothers and the Lin Kuei are Chinese and it's about time more people realized that. It's nothing against the Japanese, I just think fighting games with a bunch of characters of differing backgrounds (Street Fight, Soul Calibur, Guilty Gear, etc.) should reflect where they're from to make it more interesting.
The drawing itself is pretty fucking cool, too.

and yeah I totally agree.. it's about time fighting games with characters of differing background should show where they're from.Also I wish someday they make Characters like Sub-Zero speak cantonese/mandarin and make scorpion speak in Japanese.

I quite like this. Only thing i'd say is its a bit on the light side, I think certain areas could have been made darker. His left arm might be a tad off as well, but i do love the design.

thnx.. the thing is i noticed that whenever someone sees the artwork from a laptop it looks pathetic.
when i painted it,it was very dark but when i saw it on a laptop it looked awkward.neways i didn't want to make it too dark either.
don't take this one too seriously i made this abt 2 months back n i've improved frm then.

I'll second the laptop thing, I use my T.V as a moniter so it's not quite as bad.
p.s Just looked at your work and realised you was the person who did the sub and scorps design as well. Now I feel like a tit. Those are seriously good. Your rendering is really good as well, I need to improve mine.

Holy crap that looks awesome, this should have been one of his costumes (in mk9 both of his looks were nearly identical save for the head, but both identical enough to see it both as Bi Hans outfit for Sub-zero... I kind of dislike three outfits looking the same)
