No it will not be copyright infringement.In order to make an original work, the creator of the artistic work must put in sufficient labor, skill and capital to produce the work and not take undue advantage of someone else's work. In this case you have offered to make changes and give credit. For example the reproduction of a painting into a sculpture is not a copyright infringement.I am a lawyer and Copyright Board in Bangalore found no water with regard to this claim.
