Description I've never been into scrapbooks, into paperclips and string. I've never kept a journal, never gathered bits and pieces in boxes and jars or taped them to my walls.

But this daisy was alone in an Autumn lawn and I wanted to herald it as the last daisy, and that day as the last day of Summer.

PLEASE full view - it deserves to be

There is no photoshop magic in this - the only thing I did was tinker with the contrast a little in Lightroom.

Beautiful bokeh. Which lens did you use?

Mollinda In reply to quenjamin [2009-10-15 18:47:03 +0000 UTC]

18-55 There was a fair distance between me and the trees, which is why the bokeh is so pronounced.

Gorgeous shot! I love the little light bubble hovering over it, as if the flower just opened and freed the little orb.

The first thing that stuck out to me was the bokeh, and the encasing atmosphere it creates. I love the yellows and browns and how it seems to convey fall perfectly. The sun rays and lens flare are really something as well. Great work, Molly.
