I tried doing the single-layer shading thing using brushes/techniques from Kiwi Byrd, and then combining it with some of my own shading techniques (making it no longer single-layer, I suppose x3)
No matter how many times I redrew her eye, SHE LOOKS LIKE A MANIAC. cry.
And yea - I know I didn't draw her back plate thing bobs, but those are so freaking haarrrrrrrdddd in this style omg. I mean, her cheek.... pointy things already look mezz'd up x3
