The baby dragon flapped it's wings and squawked, probably to let the sorceress know it was hungry. She ignored the tiny creature and focused on the huge, silent form before her. "I've placed the scroll in its chest. In moments, it will quicken!"

"These monsters unsettle me!" The Warrior dwarf, Jorl Bloodbringer, muttered.

The rat on his shoulder, the noble Sir Squeaker, added, "Having been inside one of them I believe I can categorically pronounce them as very unsettling, Jorl!"

"At least this one should protect us rather than try to kill us," the Cat Girl hopefully mewed.

"Oh yes," the sorceress murmured. "You are under its protection as you are present at its birth. It will attend to your needs unless someone tampers with the scroll I've placed as it's heart." She stepped back. "Behold, it LIVES!"

Molly's art notes: Set up and rendered in Poser 13.0.339 with the Superfly Cycles X rendering engine. The Superfly engine was used for some post work effects such as spectral bloom and further tweaking was done in Photoshop. The Golem is based on the Freak 4, the sorceress on Victoria 4, the Cat Girl on Aiko 3, Jorl Bloodbringer on the Dwarvez figure by Sixus 1 and Sir Squeaker is the cartoon rat that comes free with Poser. The setting is an old bit from DAZ with some textures updated.
