We had some very enjoyable role plays with Nick. Heh. As I remember, Vance got beat up a bit as usual. That's Nick as the tool.

I LOVE this series and I'm sorry it ends here. I like the historical setting. I have little idea of how your pictures are created, so I don't know how easy it is, but I would love to see with historical settings.

You can build whatever setting you want if you have the skill in Second Life and there are many, many places to visit and play. Role playing is not welcome everywhere, though, so you have to be sensitive to other avatars around. It's a strange deal... every avatar you meet has a human driver and you have to respect that.
River Heights is a simulation area where we have built a number of... well... like movie sets. There is a desert island with jungle, a city, the old West, TRON, a Star Trek set, an airport, a haunted house, a castle some personal residences. Nick has built most of it and is pretty good at that sort of thing.
There are some other simulation areas or "sims" where play is welcome that we go to as well. Second Life is different than most online environments in that it is entirely user created. So when you are not in a sim that you own, you have to respect the intent and vision of the owner. I love Second Life and if I had more time, I'd spend a lot more of it playing there.
The pictures are just a matter of pointing your viewer... when you log in, you are using a viewer that works a lot like a web browser except that it is like a window into Second Life. Controlling your avatar and taking pictures and such is really pretty easy.

Heh. E is so beautiful and so much fun. I had hoped to wind up in some kind of peril and was really hoping for the ol' tied to the tracks with the 409 bearing down on me. *sigh*
