Before he met Wendy (at the end of the Ghost-Witch War), Casper had another girl friend, Lou (who avoided scaring peop by disguising herself as a mortal). She disappeared about 1954.
Tho never explained (The stories had no continuity), I gave an explanation of her disappearance in my fan-fic DOMDANIEL DAZE. The disappearance of Homer the Happy Ghost (Marvel, to 1958) and Timmy the Timid Ghost (Charleton,to 1971) is also explained.

Casp and Wend first met after Casper stopped a big battle bet witches & ghosts. I accepted this as canon, unlike 99+% of Harvey tales being fiction.
