Description
My half of my trade with Blaze. I worked a while on the line art, and only today coloured the ENTIRE thing, because I opened my fresh, new box of Prismacolours. 8DBlaze and Streaks enjoy a sunny day on a grassy hill across the river; Station Square off in the distance. Bane is at work, and Streaks has a day off, so big little brother takes little big sister on a picnic. Dawww.

The first thing that struck me was your use of a full palette of colors for the background to show the fuzzy, out-of-focus kind of effect that objects in the background would have when trying to see them far away. I notice some greens, oranges, and even some reds being mixed in there with the gray mountains--interesting technique

i like the coloring. i dont do much backgrounds but to my drawing that im working on of my character nikki ,when she is with knuckles into another deminion when they meet the grim reaper. ya im donig the back ground. but i can see how tiring it may be really nice work ^_^

Man, that's a lot of detail to coloring! I can see the yellows and reds in the flowers; all the intermixed colors +.+

Well, the colours should have been brighter and sharper, but I chucked this peice in PS and did stuff to it. First I made the colours warmer, so the scene seems even more peiceful yet, and then I blurred the background, so there's less to focus on.
Anyway, glad you liked it.
