Description I finally finished it... I know this is a crappy scan of it.. its a big Portrait.. i had to do multiple scans.. and well.. I need help geting it right..

well Anyway, I'll replace this picture with a much better one, once I get a good scan of it.

Absolutely jawdropping. Wonderful portrait. I like your eye for light and contour. Maybe it's the scan, but everything's so smooth and the gradients are soft and almost divine-looking.

Pencil portraits are the best! Your style reminds me of my own, very detailed and lots of values. I totally agree with you about scanning, I don't even have one big enough so most of my stuff on here are pics...if only I could see this with my own eyes I know it'd be even more amazing. Incredible job and a subject well worth the effort.

This is a wonderful portrait and tribute to the young soldier. You did a lovely job with the shading of his face, and combat BDUs. I especially love the detail you put into his medal. That's a lovely gesture to present it to the Middle School. I'm sure they'll be extremely proud to have it hanging in their building. If/when you get a reply from them, I hope you will share that with us too.
