I love "Madoka Magica" with all my heart, but its characters are not exactly my type for cosplay (I'm too old, lol), so I've never concidered making any costumes. BUT I was lucky enought to get an official lingerie (in style of my beloved Homu), so I decided to make a cosplay (wig, accesorices) especially for this photoshoot. So, only Moemura

Of all the Homura iterations I'm the biggest fan of New World Homura, the one in episode 12 - with all the toughness of Badass Homura, but also with Madoka's ribbons and a smile.

I really love the design of Devil Homura <3 Best version as for me.
Actually Homura's character is so great cause of it changes a lot during the story, every time she has new outfit it's a WOW effect.

Ah, I feel the same way about the TV show and the transformation scene. That music, Chiwa Saito's voice explaining how they couldn't possibly understand... glorious. In a better movie, it would have been equal to anything that happened in the original series. In Rebellion, however, I'm forced to enjoy them as little good pieces of a very flawed whole.
BTW, don't say you're too old. Nothing wrong with reimagining a teenage character as an adult. In fact, I like the notion of Homura having a future!

Totally agree about the Rebellion. I was heartbroken when I finished TV, it was a pure catharsis, but in the Rebellion I was mostly enjoing gorgeous animation and little features (love Nagisa's character). Sad but true.
It's better with my type of apperience to cosplay Devil Homura, but 1) she has a visious smile (I'm not good at it) and 2) she has a pretty tricky costume with those anti-gravity wings and dress that's really easy to screw. But thank you for cheering, you're really nice ^^
