This makes me wonder, do other religions also have an Adam and Eve story, or is that just a Christian thing?

Well, Islam also has the parable of Adam, Eve, and the Garden of Eden, but it is distinct from how it is in Judaism and Christianity. In the Quran it says Adam and Eve were created at the same time, not that Eve came from Adam's rib. It also is not held by Islam that their fall doomed mankind, but that when they repented God immediately forgave them.
Aside from that, there have always been creation myths, and I'm sure of those they start out with one man and one woman, although I don't know specifics (I'm not religious or a scholar of religion myself, I just took a class on it last semester, lol)
