Excellent job on the minions and their friends! If they ever decide to do a TV spinoff of the franchise, they should looking at this drawing for 2D character designs! It's that good!

I think so, too. But that is not on Illumination Entertainment or Universal Studios' radar... for now at least. The wild success of the movies and accompanying video games, however, may convince them to change their mind.
Universal turned one of its previous films, "Curious George," into a popular TV series in 2006 for PBS Kids and continues in production today. However, it's educational and nonprofit in nature and is totally dependent on viewer and private donations for its production budget per PBS and FCC rules. Should Universal try to bring the Minions to PBS, they would have to bee-bo bee-bo under those restrictions, meaning...ugh... limited animation.
