Very good. I'd almost like to see some darker colors (black) but this is done very nicely. Good details.

Anatomy, proportion, perspective. You are very talented. Just 'cause I can't do it doesn't mean I don't know it when I see it, and I'm lookin' at it.

You're very welcome. I'm in the position of being able to recognize something I can't do. Whatever it takes to have "It", You've got "It". As you mature, I will be very pleased to see your development.
Peace Out!

This is such an awesome sketch! Her boot really stands out, really love all of those buckles. Though pretty much every detail here is great.
About the scanner, maybe you could put your scanned image in Photoshop or GIMP, the free equivalent of Photoshop, and fix the light/dark settings. There are several tutorials on how to fix up sketches with those programs, too.

Thanks for the compliments!
As for scanning, I use photoshop to touch it up, but the scanner literally takes away from the image, and I'm not advanced enough in photoshop to add back in all the detail and such that my crappy scanner takes out.

About the scanning, the best tools to use for tinkering with sketch details are "Levels" and "Brightness/Contrast." Maybe that might help a little bit...

That's usually what I use. But when my scanner scans it in, really light areas of my drawing actually seem to disappear, no matter how much I darken or add contrast to the image. It's like the scanner wipes out really light tones completely to where no amount of darkening will bring them back. That's my main problem. I think I just need a better scanner. Either that or learn to draw darker lol.
