This is my entry for the #Disney-club 's contest. ( [link] )
This is my pseudo-semi-realistic version of Esmeralda, dancing on Topsy Turvy.
I wanted to do a more intense and 'sexy' version of the scene. I love how she moves in the movie, and I wanted to show her fluid and powerful movement in the painting.
I'm still a n00b at watercolor, and I'm not 100% satisfied, but I tried my best!

Done in watercolor and china ink. Scanner kinda killed the color, as always. Haha!

absolutely beautiful composition! Although, I must say that I feel like her hair is a little more whispy and fine than it should be and her jaw is typically a little bigger in the Disney flick. OF course, this could be your interpretation of Esmerelda. In that case, my apologies.

I like the whole composition of this piece; the pose, the colors and the background.
One eye seems to curve upwards more then the other, not sure if that was purpose.
