Hello everyone,

I know it's already Sunday 2 p.m. in Germany (that means about eight or seven o clock in the United States) and I usually upload my drawings on Saturday night. This though has two reasons, why I uploaded my artwork retarded. The first reason was, it was too late for uploading and my mother refuses me to stay awake one hour longer, so I will keep on uploading every Sunday at 1-2 p.m. instead of every Saturday. The second reason was, that due to private reasons, I wasn't sure if I should really upload it. I thought for cons and thought for pros, but eventually I decided to upload it. I really had much fun drawing this and developing her story! There'll be more Precious-la art soon! I hope, this artwork won't be too monotone for you (because the colors of her dress are the same as her body colors) and I hope, you can forgive me certain drawing mistakes. On the other hand, I tried a new pose to make her...well..."more interesting".

As some may have noticed, I drew my pony/eqg OC Precious-la. The motivation for this drawing were actually from my real life. Besides, I thought, I could design her a new..."Christmas outfit", but I think, this outfit can also match for any other occation. Crazy, bubbly and totally bright outfits are sort of mainstream, so I decided to design a more simple outfit. The sash should actually be pink, but "Rarity" insistes of making a red sash instead, because Precious-la's least favorite color was pink, even pink would also be okay for Precious-la. Besides, of you hadn't noticed: The outfit should portray a wrapped present/gift. The title of the drawing is a reference of the new Christmas special. The best gift is more precious than gold, it's not ended but mended and it cannot be bought but easily sold. Forgive me, if I quoted wrong. xD

Well, the story of this artwork is simple: The School of Friendship respectively the Friendship Club in the EQG world organized a Pre-Heart-Warming-Eve-Celebration, where everyone was invited. Silverstream, Ocellus, Derpy, Smolder and Yona where in Pinkie Pie's party organization club. Precious-la didn't dare to miss something special and fun, so she insisted to join the club as well. Derpy and Yona were terminated, because they did too much trouble, so Smolder thought, that Precious-la could also cause the same trouble, because of her wild and bubbly nature. Pinkie still took her, so Smolder tried to terminate her, unaware, that Precious-la was actually a very gifted pony. Precious-la helped a lot and Smolder apologized. Smolder was included in Precious-la's best friends, as she could see her, when Precious-la was invisible. For the Pre-Hearth-Warming-Eve-Celebration (brief: PHWEC), Rarity insisted to make gowns and outfits for ALL the club members, but actually got totally...well... . No worries, she got help from ponies like Coco Pommel.
