You are both wrong. Catherine and Jacob Keyes had Miranda keyes. Cortana is suppose to look like Catherine. Thats why Miranda look like Cortana, because Miranda is Catherine's daughter.

If all you fanboys read the books then you probably would know what I mean. Dr. Halsey was a professor working on Reach for the MJOLNIR-Project and created Cortana after herselft as a brand new AI. Too bad she died with Reach and Cortana lived on with Master Chief.
