This photo was from a collection I called "Flashback February" in which every day for the month of February I released an unposted photo of a cosplay from a previous year in order to relive some of the memories of my favorite cons and costumes. Since February is now nearly over, I've decided to post some of them here. But to see the full collection, view them on my Instagram at MomoKurumiCosplayFor about half a year now I've been trying to perfect a pattern for the ideal sailor scout uniform, and Neptune was my first trial. There's a lot on it that didn't work out, that've since changed, and I've even had friends help me out by making outfits with my updated versions, while I, too, work on improving some as I sew some more suits (I have a Saturn, Mars, and Chibi Moon started, lol).
I'm dressed as Neptune, made by me, and my friend Anne is as Saturn, which she made using a modified version of my patterns.
