Description
Tony Stark: Genius, Playboy, Billionaire, Philanthropist, and Superhero. Originally a dick who built weapons for the US military, he was doing a demonstration of a new weapon in a war zone where his convoy was ambushed and shrapnel was lodged in his chest so close it required an electromagnet to keep the shards from stabbing his heart. Tony was captured and forced to build his captors a new weapon to use on the US military, but was secretly building a suit of armor which helped him escape, but at the cost of his fellow captive Yin Sin.

After escaping, Tony vowed to undo his legacy of weapons and the damage they inflict by upgrading his armor and becoming Iron Man. Tony co-founded and led the original members of the Avengers, as well as provided financial and technological backing.
