When I woke up, there were females all around, a few of them gazing down at themselves with expressions of giddy delight. I wonder if they remember being human too. They're... if I had to pick a word... beautiful. I never realized how beautiful a color gray was until now. 🍑

(This is a version of the story where all the members of the colony used to be human... but I'm brainstorming an alternate version I think works better where Momo is the only ex-human. Time will tell as the story develops)
