She was just about done with a feeding, and was fluttering around on my hand searching for one last mealworm. It looks like she is in flight, but her back foot is hooked on to my finger.Related content

^w^ no problem. Ah, I see. I don't mean as an unflying pet though. I wish to build a bat house and attach a light so they will be drawn to them. I actaually was able to hold one. I named him Speckle but then my mom flipped.

I have had the rabies vaccination, but truly no...I didn't have any reason to think she had it, and by now it's been over a year.

I would say, even just to hold one, I would be tickled pink. We had a bucket on our back porch, and this little bat snuggled into the corner one day. He was so cute, I just stared at him and we left him, but I just wanted to cuddle him. Is that weird?

I don't think so...a lot of people hold this bat! Some people are nervous at first, but they are almost always pleasantly surprised at how soft and warm she is.

Well, I've helped 3...one was an easy release, one had an awful open fracture and died (no one would treat him and I didn't know how then)...and this one is my permanent friend because one wing is damaged. There is no bat rescue person anywhere near me, so I guess I would like to learn enough to do the job
